Some of the country’s best breweries, most beautiful universities, and charming waterfalls and hikes can be found in the blue ridge mountains. One of our favorite travels is driving around the amazing North Carolina Scenic Waterfall Byway and looking out for the amazing fall foliage of the mountain trees.
In the eastern part of the state, North Carolina has some world famous beaches and beach towns. You can explore the amazing outer banks, a collection of thin barrier islands that extend several miles out into the Atlantic ocean. There you will find the charming towns of Kitty Hawk, Duck, and Hatteras. Among and between the towns, there are incredible beaches, lighthouses, homes, and the wondaful Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
We can’t forget the middle of North Carolina! In the middle of the states lie the amazing cities of Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and the capital of Raleigh. Here you will find the states best museums, some amazing eats, and some of the states best historical attractions.
